3 As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer 4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God’s work—which is by faith. 5 The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a goodconscience and a sincere faith. 6 Some have departed from these and have turned to meaningless talk. 7 They want to be teachers of the law, but they do not know what they are talking about or what they so confidently affirm.
If our very church is what is shutting out the broken and the lost and the sinful and only seeking the holy and the righteous and the God-seeking then get out of there. If those affiliated with the church are the ones that tell you that you are not good enough, get out of there, because that is the devil having broken something beautiful in an effort to bring you down. If those affiliated with the church are shoving Their knowledge down your throat, rebuke them in the name of a God who is tired of seeing men who treat his children like they are disposable and expendable when someone better comes along and is tired of self-righteous “leaders” who think they know it all but in reality are so blind that they don’t even see their own foolishness. & Who is tired of those who claim themselves as leaders in the church and do not show love to anyone other than those who appear perfect and in line with God. Those who are distant from God and lacking in faith should leave the church feeling refreshed and loved, not neglected and worthless.
”there’s a problem if people only know you’re a Christian by your Facebook, i mean in every other aspect of life you know that logic’s unworthy, it’s like saying you play for the Lakers just because you bought a jersey.”
